Just a heads up - I have another tumblr called megadummy where I am posting every single image on my computer in chronological order, with no commentary, just an artist/photographer credit if I have one. This display was put up last year during the World Cup: a 20 meter tall “Ball Man” made out of 5500 soccer ball “pixels,” which by now have been donated to various communities around South Africa. Impressive.
Say what you will about Nike, their self-promotional campaigns, store displays, and many community benefit programs have resulted in some very impressive visuals...
